The One Show Prompt: Come up with an idea to address gender inequality or identity in some way.
Problem: Transgender highschool athletes are often discriminated against because highschools are unprepared to accomodate them.
Insight: There is no national standard for highschool athletic eligibility, so highschools are left to make independent decisions about who is eligible to play on which teams, which often leads to unsafe requiremets for transgender students.
Solution: Create an easy and public way to reach federal legislators and advocate for safe and inclusive athletc policies.
The Work:
A new Twitter function allows Twitter users to send one tweet of support that will automatically be sent to hundreds of U.S. legislators. The tweet will include a link to policy suggestions.
